Hot Documents and Cold Economics: Revenge of the Underpants Gnomes
As every antitrust lawyer knows, corporate documents sometimes more accurately reflect the aspirations of their authors than economic reality. Hot documents may thus reflect some seriously cold economics. The business plan of the Underpants Gnomes is a good example:

None of the gnomes actually know what the second phase is, and all of them assume that someone else within the organization does.
