Breaking News: Deborah Platt Majoras Reportedly To Resign

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that FTC Chairman Deborah Platt Majoras will step down to serve as vice president and general counsel at Procter & Gamble.  See also Reuters, the New York Times, and law.com.

Update: the FTC website confirms the news: “Federal Trade Commission Chairman Deborah Platt Majoras today announced her decision to leave the FTC in late March. Majoras was appointed by President George W. Bush and sworn into office on August 16, 2004.”
