Leibowitz Nominated As FTC Chairman
In the better-late-than never category, President Obama has nominaed Jon Leibowitz to be the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission. Although predictions can be dangerous, a safe one is that he will be easily confirmed by the Senate.

Particularly since he is already a sitting Commissioner, and thus doesn’t need to be separately confirmed to be designated as Chairman.
(Not that the White House announcement makes that particularly clear…)
