Air Cargo Raid
As the AntitrustProf Blog notes, ealier today EU and DOJ raided several airlines both here and in Europe as part of an investigation into possible fixing of cargo prices. Reuters article about this here. The article mentions that several other airlines were also asked for information. According to this Reuters article - which oddly does not mention these raids - United Parcel Service was informally asked for information. According to the article “‘UPS understands it is not part of the probe,’ UPS spokesman Norman Black said. ‘As is its practice, UPS will cooperate with requests from government agencies.’”
