FTC Actions And Inactions
According to two separate Reuters articles, the FTC will not take action against Citadel Broadcasting Corporation’s $2.7 billion acquisition of ABC Radio or against JP Morgan Chase & Co.’s $1.5 billion dollar acquisition of Kohl’s Corp.’s credit card portfolio.
Reuters is also reporting that:
Medical device maker Boston Scientific Corp. said Wednesday it has reached agreement with the staff of the Federal Trade Commission to resolve all antitrust issues related to its proposed $27 billion acquisition of Guidant Corp. The agreement is subject to final review and approval by the FTC commissioners, the company said.
